By gaining a deep understanding of the intersection between business objectives and customer needs as soon as is possible, I can help develop a strategy and define goals and objectives that will guide the team to achieve the best results.
I use various research methods to gather both qualitative and quantitative data in order to fully understand the problem that needs to be solved. Data is the most powerful tool we can use to inform the design of a product or service.
After gathering the required data and defining the problem to solve, I can then begin wireframing, and creating a hi-fidelity UIs to hand over to the developers to build, constantly testing the designs with users and iterating as I go.
I beleive in 'Servant Leadership' and that empathy is the key to both good design and leading people. As a leader, I aim to ensure the happiness, wellness and empowerment of my team and help them achieve both their project and career goals.
